Cortisol PM

Description

Chronic stress and elevated cortisol levels can increase your risk to a list of various chronic diseases in addition to severe depression and altered hormones and a poor quality of life. A cortisol PM test is done to find problems of the pituitary gland or adrenal glands, such as making too much or too little hormones. The cortisol blood test measures the level of cortisol in the blood. Cortisol is a steroid (glucocorticoid) hormone produced by the adrenal gland.

Your doctor may recommend you to also take a Cortisol AM test in conjunction with PM Cortisol.
